Cayo Adventure Tours offers guided hiking trips on outstanding hiking trails in Belize. Although most of the hiking available is actually on the way to another activity, such as a Mayan ruin or Mayan ceremonial cave, most of the maintained trails are in the jungle, and a competent guide will point out the local plants and their medicinal uses, as well as jungle birds and animals along the way. Experience the heart and soul of nature, and learn about sustainable living and the uses of native plants while enjoying the great outdoors in Belize.
Great hiking trails in Belize include the trails at Hidden Valley in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve, the trail to Actun Tunichil Muknal in the Tapir Mountain Reserve, and the trail to Chechem Ha Cave and others in the environs around Cayo. For more intense hiking and breathtaking panoramas, our naturalist guide will take you on a hike in the Cockscomb Wildlife Reserve in Stann Creek.
